Accra: Mr Patrick Dela Cofie, the head of the Foreign Desk of the Ghana News Agency, has passed away. The 51-year-old Senior Editor reportedly died in his sleep at his residence in Madina, near Accra.
According to Ghana News Agency, Mr Cofie had a notable academic journey, beginning at Achimota Primary and continuing at the Presbyterian Boys Senior High School in Legon. He was also a graduate of the School of Communications at the University of Ghana. Arrangements for his burial and funeral rites will be announced at a later date.
