The Tema Development Company (TDC) Ghana Limited has won five awards at the Public Enterprise League Table (PELT) Awards Dinner held at the Rock City Hotel in Kwahu, Eastern Region.The awards were 'The Dynamic Effects-Innovative awards respectively for the years 2022 and 2023, SOE of the year 2022, Most Compliant SOE in 2022, and for Dividend Paying 2023.Mr Kofi Brako, the Board Chairman and Mr Samuel Asante, the General Manager Operations, received the awards on behalf of the company, a leading real estate developer.The award ceremony, organised by the Ministry of Public Enterprises and the State Interest and Governance Authority (SIGA), with support from the Ministry of Finance, was aimed at fostering competition among public enterprises to enhance performance.Mr Ian Okwei, the Protocol and Administrative Officer of TDC Ghana Ltd, in an interview with the Ghana News Agency, expressed optimism that the awards would serve as a benchmark for the company to reach greater heights in subsequent ratings.T he company had been crowned the overall Specified Entity of the Year at the maiden edition of the PELT Awards.Additionally, TDC was adjudged the overall Best-Performing State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) in 2020.He acknowledged the contribution of workers to the achievements and congratulated all staff for their efforts in bringing about the victory.Source: Ghana News Agency
