Tema: The special voting exercise for security personnel, media, and the Electoral Commission's staff is smoothly underway in various polling centres in Tema and its environs. The exercise started at the expected 0700 hours in most of the centres, with the Tema East starting at 0720 hours due to some material challenges.According to Ghana News Agency, the centres involved in the voting process include Tema East at Community One Police Station, Tema Central at Community Eight Police Station, Tema West at Community Two Police Station, Ashaiman at District Police Station, Ada at Ada Foah Police Station, Ningo-Prampram at Prampram Methodist Primary School, and Kpone-Katamanso at Michel Camp. The exercise is expected to see a total of 286 participants at Sege, with 1,048 and 1,244 voters at the Tema West and Ashaiman special voting centres, respectively.Tema East and Tema Central have 693 and 457 individuals on the special voters' register, respectively, while Kpone-Katamanso has 421 special voters on the elec toral roll. The Ghana News Agency observed that the voting exercise was being conducted in a smooth, incident-free manner with political party representatives from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) present.Political party executives and parliamentary candidates from both parties were also seen at the centres, monitoring the exercise and interacting with the presiding officers.
