Wenchi: The Electoral Commission (EC) in the Wenchi constituency has expressed satisfaction with the high voter turnout and the orderly conduct of party agents during the recent special voting exercise, which concluded without any incidents.According to Ghana News Agency, Mrs. Christina Opoku, the Wenchi Municipal Officer of the EC, reported a 92 percent turnout for the special voting, with 775 out of 842 registered special voters casting their ballots. The voting demographic comprised 461 males and 314 females. Mrs. Opoku praised the overall comportment of voters during the exercise.In a media briefing held in Wenchi after the polls, Mrs. Opoku extended commendations to the agents of various political parties, security personnel, and other stakeholders for their maturity and civility, which were instrumental in ensuring the success and peaceful conduct of the special voting exercise.Mrs. Opoku also expressed her optimism that the political parties and electorate would maintain the same level of decorum and self-discipline during the upcoming General Election scheduled for December 7.
