Keta: The Special voting exercise for registered voters in the Keta constituency of the Volta Region has commenced. A total number of 255 registered voters are expected to cast their ballot, which commenced at exactly 0700 hours and would end at 1700 hours.According to Ghana News Agency, the special voting was designed for Electoral Commission officials, security personnel, media, and others who would be having a special assignment during the general election on Saturday, December 7. Mr. Philip Adzomadi, the Electoral Commission Officer at Keta, in an earlier interview, stated that all registered special voters were expected to exercise their franchise ahead of the December polls."This special voting is for only those who were registered to vote ahead of the general elections," he said. He also mentioned that those who were registered as special voters but failed to vote on Monday, December 2, would not be able to vote in the general elections.The Ghana News Agency further observed that the voting proce sses were smooth while political party agents and security personnel were present to ensure a successful and smooth exercise. There was no queue as of 0730 hours as observed by the agency.
