Nkwanta: The special voting exercise smoothly commenced at about 0700 hours on Monday, at the Nkwanta South Constituency, to enable those who will be on duty on December 7 to cast their ballot. At about 0745 hours, out of a total of 382 expected voters, 48 had cast their ballot.According to Ghana News Agency, a total of 3,600 voters are expected to cast their ballot in the Oti Region in the special voting exercise. Mr Mahama Nuhu, the Oti Regional Director of the Electoral Commission, gave the assurance that all arrangements had been made to ensure a smooth and peaceful exercise from 0700 hours to 1700 hours.Mr Yavunu Michael, the Presiding Officer at the RC Social Centre polling station, said the exercise was going on smoothly without any challenge.
