QNET Warns Public Against Misuse of Brand Name by Scammers

Accra: Officials of QNET, a company focused on wellness and lifestyle, have urged the public to remain vigilant against scams and false claims by individuals who assert association with the brand. Addressing the press in Accra, Mr. Briam Fall, the Regional General Manager of QNET Sub-Saharan Africa, emphasized that the company does not offer travel or employment opportunities, nor is it engaged in investment or Ponzi schemes. He stressed that individuals misusing the company's name for illegal activities should be reported.

According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Fall expressed deep concern over reports of individuals falsely claiming association with QNET when apprehended. He clarified that in most instances, these individuals are neither connected to QNET nor authorized to represent the brand. He warned that some deliberately misuse the company's name to mislead others, causing harm to innocent victims. Mr. Fall reiterated, "QNET is not an employment agency. We do not promise guaranteed income or travel opportunities in exchange for money. We do not condone illegal gatherings or participate in Ponzi or investment schemes."

Mr. Fall further announced the launch of a media and public education campaign, titled 'QNET Against Scams,' aimed at educating the public on the company's legitimate operations to prevent fraudulent activities. He added that the company, which specializes in wellness products such as weight loss and food supplements, has received approval from regulatory bodies and positive feedback from stakeholders.

Mr. Trevor Kuna, the Chief Marketing Officer, highlighted that the company operates in over 25 countries, using a direct selling business model driven by e-commerce. He discussed the range of products under health, wellness, and lifestyle categories, which customers have patronized due to their quality and brand reputation. He also mentioned QNET's community initiative, where a percentage of profits from product sales are allocated to charity.

QNET announced the launch of its business conference, 'V-CON Africa,' which will be hosted in Ghana for the first time. The event is designed to empower local entrepreneurs and drive tourism, bringing together a diverse assembly of marketing professionals, business leaders, governmental and regulatory stakeholders, partners, entrepreneurs, and journalists.
