Atwima nwabiagya south: Pre-school teachers in the Atwima Nwabiagya South Municipality of the Ashanti Region have been urged to handle their pupils with utmost care and patience to help identify and develop their talents early. Mr. Wisdom Osei Boamah, Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the area, emphasized the importance of early talent identification as a pathway to developing skills that will benefit both the community and the nation.According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Boamah highlighted the role of a strong educational foundation in nurturing the skills of children during a visit to several early childhood schools in the Municipality. He interacted with children at schools including Nkawie, Kuffour, Atwima Agogo M/A basic schools, and the Islamic basic school at Nkawie. The MCE also distributed learning materials to the pupils, showcasing his commitment to the education and future of the children.Mr. Boamah appealed to teachers and stakeholders to dedicate themselves to the educational pursuits of the children, aiming for higher academic achievements in the future. In support of this initiative, Nana Pokuah Amoako, the Municipal Director of Education, urged the teachers to adhere strictly to the academic year timetable. This adherence, she noted, would benefit children in various fields such as academics and sports, aiding in future school selection and placement in appropriate second cycle institutions.Mrs. Faustina Akyeremu, Headmistress of Kuffour Basic School, expressed her gratitude to the officials for their dedication to improving education and academic standards in the area.
