He raised this concern during the Upper West Regional Hospital's Annual Staff Awards Event held at the hospital's forecourt over the weekend. The event, themed "Recognising and celebrating our hardworking staff," aimed to acknowledge the contributions of dedicated staff members.Dr. Amesiya appealed to the Ministry of Energy to consider providing a separate power line for the hospital to ensure a reliable electricity supply. He emphasized the importance of recognizing staff contributions to motivate others to enhance service efficiency. Criteria for selecting awardees included punctuality, interpersonal relationships, client care, service, and discipline towards patients.He noted a positive shift in patient and client feedback, with some now commending staff who go the extra mile to provide exceptional care. Dr. Amesiya urged stakeholders to continue their support for the hospital, enabling authorities to organize events that encourage competition and improve service delivery.Expressing optimism about the hospital's future, Dr. Amesiya underlined the quality of staff and equipment, remarking on the hospital's progress despite lacking initial capital. He expressed hope for continued government and stakeholder support, coupled with the right attitude and environment, to exceed expectations.Dr. Amesiya encouraged staff to maintain discipline and hard work, contributing to the hospital's reputation by providing quality healthcare services. He advised staff to persist in their efforts to justify demands for increased support from the government and stakeholders, noting that healthcare delivery would be evaluated by them.
