Bechem: A total of 459 voters are expected to cast their ballots in the Tano South Constituency of the Ahafo Region as part of the Electoral Commission (EC)'s special voting exercise. The voting is currently taking place at the premises of the Ghana Immigration Service command in Bechem, the constituency capital.According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Joseph Asamoah, the EC's Returning Officer, reported that the voting process commenced promptly at 0700 hours with all necessary voting materials available and intact. The polling center has been secured with the presence of security personnel, and agents representing various political parties are also present to oversee the proceedings.By 0840 hours, 55 eligible voters had already cast their ballots, with more electorates observed patiently waiting in line to vote. The special voting exercise is part of the EC's efforts to ensure that all eligible voters in the constituency have the opportunity to participate in the electoral process.
