Over 200 Students Graduate at Crystal Heights International School Ceremony

Amasaman: Crystal Heights International School celebrated a significant milestone as over 200 pupils graduated during its 7th speech and prize-giving ceremony held at Amasaman Shikpontele in the Ga South Municipality. The event included graduates from Kindergarten, Primary, and Junior High School, as well as those engaged in international studies.

According to Ghana News Agency, the ceremony was themed 'Innovators of Tomorrow: Rising with Purpose and Possibility.' The keynote speaker, Prof. Elsie Effah Kaufmann, Dean of the School of Engineering Sciences and an Associate Professor at the University of Ghana, emphasized the importance of innovation, creativity, and problem-solving. Prof. Kaufmann shared stories of innovators like Alexander Fleming, who discovered penicillin, and highlighted principles such as curiosity, knowledge, persistence, and collaboration. She encouraged graduates to apply these principles in their future endeavors and work together to achieve their goals.

Professor Kaufmann noted that innovation often finds individuals rather than the other way around, urging the graduates to remain observant, cultivate curiosity, and continually ask questions. She emphasized that analyzing problems rather than ignoring them can be the starting point for finding solutions. She also encouraged the graduates to be bold in questioning existing methods and to remain grounded in purpose by having a plan and expected outcome for every endeavor.

Emmanuel Dadzie Entsie, the Director of Crystal Heights International School, highlighted the school's efforts to equip students with tools that aid the learning process, fostering connections and creativity in a rapidly evolving world. He discussed the importance of virtual classrooms and interactive platforms as innovations that bridge broader heights. Since its founding in 2014, Crystal Heights has grown from a single campus to a vibrant community, with strategic expansions in laboratories to ensure theory meets practice.

Entsie pointed to the annual Robotics and Computing display as evidence of the school's commitment to innovation, where students translate code into motion and algorithms into solutions. He stressed that innovation stems from purpose and that partnering with the Ga West Municipal Education Directorate to promote STEM education is key to making a real impact when skills serve community needs.

The graduation ceremony included various performances such as cultural dances, talk shows, choreography, poetry, and showcases from the digital department. Crystal Heights International School continues to be a beacon of educational excellence in Amasaman Shikpontele in the Ga South Municipality.
