Okere: Special voting at the Adukrom Methodist Square, the polling centre for the special voting in Okere, concluded smoothly without any hindrance. The electoral process went on without any disruptions, marking a successful voting exercise in the area.According to Ghana News Agency, a visit to the centre revealed that the major political parties, including the NPP, NDC, New Force, and the CPP, had their agents present. Additionally, several party officials and members of the public were seen observing the process from a distance, ensuring transparency and fairness throughout the voting.Mr. Randy Kwayisi, the presiding officer, confirmed that all voters were verified using the Biometric Verification Device (BVD) without any technical issues. This seamless verification process was a key factor in the smooth conduct of the voting exercise.Okere is one of the 33 constituencies in the Eastern and Western Regions where the Electoral Commission had rescheduled the special voting on Monday due to previous tech nical hitches. The successful completion of the voting in Okere reflects the improvements made by the Electoral Commission to address earlier challenges.
