Mr Geoffrey Kini, the Nkwanta South Constituency Parliamentary Candidate for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and Madam Sherifa Sekyere-Tijani, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate have filed their nomination forms.Mr Kini, who is the incumbent Member of Parliament for the Constituency was the first to file followed by Madam Sekyere-Tijani.He was optimistic of victory in the December 7 general elections.Madam Sekyere-Tijani on her part, expressed her gratitude for the support of the constituents during the process.Mr. Alfred Amedeka, the Nkwanta South Electoral Officer received the nomination forms for the parliamentary candidates.Mr Kini, in 2020 won the parliamentary elections which was his second term with 29,189 votes while Madam Sherifa Sekyere-Tijani polled 20,272 votes.Source: Ghana News Agency
