Dambai: The newly elected national executives of the All Bikpakpaam Union of Ghana (ABUG) have taken office, urging peace and unity within the Konkomba communities. The swearing-in ceremony was held at the Emmanuel Assembly, Church of Pentecost Dambai in the Krachi East Municipality of the Oti Region.According to Ghana News Agency, the 14 newly inducted members include key figures such as Mr. Solomon Koyaja Tangbari, the founder, and Mr. Stephen Njochala, the president. Other members are Mr. Joseph Manoba Tikola (Vice President), Mr. Yussif Nkpebu Binidam (General Secretary), and several others filling crucial roles including financial and organizational positions.Mr. Stephen Njochala, the newly sworn-in President, expressed gratitude to the ABUG electoral college for their trust. He emphasized the importance of unity and appealed for support from all members, highlighting the challenges ahead.Founder Mr. Solomon Koyaja Tangbari outlined the union's primary goal of collaborating with Konkomba chiefs to enhance unity, preserve culture, and promote social development. He stressed the importance of gender inclusivity and encouraged women to actively participate in the union's activities.Mr. Yussif Nkpebu Binidam, the General Secretary, along with other executives, pledged their dedication to improving the union. This commitment was positively received by union members seeking better representation and conditions.
