In a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer, Mr. Stephen Owusu, on behalf of the President of the House, the House described the incident as a 'profound national loss', extending heartfelt condolences to the Government of Ghana, the Ghana Armed Forces, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), and all the bereaved families.
According to Ghana News Agency, the statement emphasized the immense sacrifices, loyalty, commitment, and unwavering dedication to public service that the victims exhibited. The House acknowledged the pain and grief experienced by the families, noting that while words cannot ease their suffering, it is the hope of the chiefs that they find comfort in the grace and mercy of Almighty God.
