Kwesi Nyantakyi could have been FIFA’s first black president if not for Anas exposé – Nyaho Tamakloe

Hearts of Oak board member Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe has expressed his belief that Kwesi Nyantakyi could have become the first black man to lead FIFA if it weren't for the Anas exposé."Nyantakyi would have been the first black man to head FIFA if the Anas exposé hadn't happened," he told Starr FM.Kwesi Nyantakyi, a prominent figure in African football, served as the President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and held significant positions within FIFA and CAF.However, his promising career came to an abrupt end following the 2018 Anas Aremeyaw Anas investigative piece, which exposed widespread corruption within Ghanaian football.The exposé, dubbed "Number 12," showed Nyantakyi allegedly accepting a bribe of $65,000 from undercover journalists posing as businessmen.
