Tunis: General engineer Khaoula Belakhdhar has been appointed CEO of the Merchant Navy and Ports Office (OMMP), by virtue of decree no. 2024-398 of June 28, 2024, the Transport Ministry announced on Tuesday.The decree was published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Tunisia (JORT) no. 080 of July 01, 2024.The OMMP was created in 1965. It is tasked with discharging the duties entrusted to the maritime authority and administration, as well as those of the port authority, in accordance with the legislation in force.Source: Agence Tunis Afrique Presse
