Keta Fire Service Bolstered by MP Dzudzorli Gakpe’s Donation

Keta: In a notable development for the Keta Fire Service, Mr. Kwame Dzudzorli Gakpe, the Member of Parliament for the Keta Constituency in the Volta Region, has extended a donation aimed at enhancing the operational capabilities of the local fire service team.

According to Ghana News Agency, the donation, valued in hundreds of Ghana cedis, was delivered through the Keta Municipal office of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO). The contributions included essential items such as mattresses, mosquito nets, and bedsheets, among others, intended to support the fire service personnel in their duties.

Mr. Wonder Setsoafia Deynu, the NADMO Director at Keta, presented the items on behalf of the MP. He emphasized that the donation was in response to a request from the Keta Fire Service, aiming to improve the working conditions and overall well-being of the fire service personnel. Mr. Deynu highlighted the importance of such contributions in enhancing the operational efficiency of the fire service, which ultimately benefits the wider community.

The donation exemplifies the strong relationship between the community and its leadership, showcasing Mr. Gakpe's commitment to the welfare of his constituents. Mr. Deynu also called upon corporate organizations, individuals, and benevolent groups to support similar initiatives, emphasizing the collective impact such efforts can have on community welfare.

Mr. Lawrence Woedi, the Keta Municipal Fire Service Commander, expressed his gratitude for the donation, noting its expected positive impact on both their work and community safety.
