Kasoa North Circuit of Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission Donates to Inmates of Awutu Camp Prison

Kasoa: The Krispol City Jama'at of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission has presented assorted items to Muslim inmates of the Awutu Camp Prison in the Central Region. The items include bags of rice and beans, cooking oil, and other assorted drinks, aimed at supporting the inmates in breaking their fast and onwards celebrations of Eid.

According to Ghana News Agency, Eid-ul-Fitr is a celebration by Muslims worldwide because it marks the end of the month-long dawn to dusk fasting of Ramadan. Muallim Jamaludeen Kwaku Donkoh, the Kasoa North Circuit Missionary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission, emphasized the need to uphold the virtues of fasting even after Ramadan. He highlighted the spiritual, moral, and physical benefits of fasting, urging the inmates to embrace self-discipline, patience, and devotion to God.

Muallim Donkoh stated that the fasting period was an opportunity to strengthen faith and rebuild lives. He expressed hope that the inmates used the Ramadan month to seek forgiveness and work towards their moral and spiritual improvement. He reassured the inmates that God's mercy is boundless and that sincere repentance could pave the way for a better future for them.
