KADJEBI: Alhaji Danjumah Haruna, the Kadjebi Zongo Meagowa (Chief), has made an appeal for sustained peace in Ghana before, during, and after the upcoming December 7 elections. He emphasized the importance of maintaining peace for the nation's progress and urged everyone to avoid actions that could incite violence.According to Ghana News Agency, Alhaji Haruna conveyed his message during an interview in Kadjebi, located in the Oti Region. The Zongo Chief specifically advised political party leaders, their representatives, and other political actors to refrain from personal attacks, insults, and provocative language, warning that such behavior could lead to conflict.He also appealed to religious leaders across various faiths, whether in churches, mosques, or shrines, to advocate for peace as the elections approach. Alhaji Haruna's call for unity and non-violence highlights the critical role of peace in ensuring a stable and prosperous future for Ghana.
