Tunis: Tunisia's Marwa Bouzayani won the 3000m steeplechase at the Janusz Kusocinski Memorial 2024, a World Athletics Indoor Tour in Poland, after clocking 9:17:78, the world's fifth best time this season.Bouzayani, who is preparing for this summer's Olympic Games in Paris, took the lead ahead of Spain's Carolina Robles (9:27:54) and Irene Escribano (9:27:69), while her compatriot Rihab Dhahri had to settle for ninth place with a time of 9:53:90.Bouzayani will continue her preparations for the Olympic Games by taking part in the Diamond League athletics meetings, the first of which is the Eugene meeting in the United States on Saturday May 25.Source: Agence Tunis Afrique Presse
