Accra Hearts of Oak have adopted the University of Ghana Sports Stadium as their new home ground.This comes after the National Sports Authority closed down the Accra Sports Stadium for minor repairs ahead of a proposed inspection by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).In a press statement, Accra Hearts of Oak announced the temporary use of the University of Ghana Sports Stadium while the Accra Sports Stadium is being renovated.??'The Legon Stadium would remain our home venue for the 2024-25 football season until the Accra Sports Stadium or our alternative venue is ready for usage.'The Sports Ministry on Monday gave directives for the closure of the Accra Sports Stadium, so they give it the necessary facelift it deserves to meet international standards,' the statement said.It also announced that their week three encounter would take place at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium and entreated fans to troop and support the club.'Phobians, let's meet at the Legon Sports Stadium on Sunday ni ght and let our support count while patronising the Phobia4Life?packages,' the statement ended.Hearts of Oak are currently bottom of the 2024-25 Ghana Premier League standings having recorded zero points from two matches.Source: Ghana News Agency
