Accra: The Round of 32 of the 2024-25 MTN FA Cup unfolded over the weekend, producing significant results across various match venues. Accra Hearts of Oak, the record holders of the FA Cup, secured their spot in the round of 16 with a 3-0 victory against Division One side Home Stars at Legon Sports Stadium. Enoch Asubonteng, Mawuli Wayo, and Martin Karikari each found the net in the second half, ensuring a decisive win for the Phobians. This marks their fourth consecutive win across all competitions, as they continue to pursue both the Ghana Premier League trophy and the FA Cup this season.

According to Ghana News Agency, Kumasi Asante Kotoko also progressed to the next round by defeating Division Two club Accler8z FC 2-0 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday. Ansu Henry and Kwame Poku each contributed a goal, propelling the Porcupine Warriors into the round of 16. Meanwhile, True Democracy delivered one of the more unexpected outcomes of the Round of 32 by upsetting previous FA Cup winners Dreams FC 1-0 at the Nii Adjei Okraku II Sports Complex.
