Bechem: Dr Louisa Hannah Bissiw, the National Women Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has urged the electorate to support former President John Dramani Mahama, the 2024 flagbearer of the party, in the upcoming elections on December 7. She emphasized the NDC's history of addressing the needs of ordinary citizens and assured that Ghanaians would witness significant improvements in their socio-economic conditions if the NDC regained power.According to Ghana News Agency, Dr Bissiw made these remarks while addressing hundreds of NDC supporters and members in Bechem, located in the Tano South Municipality of the Ahafo Region. The gathering followed a peace walk organized by party members to emphasize the importance of a peaceful Election 2024 and to bolster the party's support base ahead of the General Election.Dr Bissiw also encouraged the electorate to vote for Mr Charles Akwasi Asiedu, the NDC Parliamentary Candidate for the constituency, praising him as a development-oriented leader. She highlighted Mr Asiedu's contributions to numerous development projects even while in opposition, commending his dedication to the constituency's progress.Mr Asiedu expressed gratitude towards the party for its support and urged members to remain strong and increase their election efforts. He stated that this approach was essential for the NDC to regain political power and implement a government capable of improving the lives of Ghanaians.Additionally, Mr Malik Sulley, the Tano South Constituency Chairman of the NDC, called on the electorate to vote for both the NDC and Mr Asiedu on December 7, with development as the primary objective.
