Dr Joshua Makubu, former Oti Regional Minister, has donated some items to newborn babies at the Nkwanta South Municipal Hospital in the Oti Region.The items donated included soaps, diapers, and sanitary pads for mothers.The Minister's gesture is to support new mothers, and their families and to also promote the healthy growth and development of babies.Madam Ayishatu Fuseini, Captain, Nkwanta South Loyal Ladies, who presented the items on behalf of the former Minister congratulated the new mothers on the safe delivery of their babies.Mrs Beatrice Ananga, a Principal Midwifery Officer at the maternity ward, who received the items, expressed gratitude to the former Minister for his generosity.She said the donation was timely and requested more donations to aid new mothers, who could not afford the needed items.The new mothers at the maternity ward were excited after receiving the items and thanked the Minister for his benevolence.Source: Ghana News Agency
