Ekumfi Youth Summit Aims to Address Unemployment and Education Access in 2025

EKUMFI: A summit designed to empower the youth of Ekumfi through social and economic opportunities is set to take place in April 2025. Organized by Kays Event and HR Solutions, the event will address pressing issues such as unemployment and access to education while inspiring proactive leadership among the youth in the region.According to Ghana News Agency, the summit, themed 'Empowering Ekumfi's Tomorrow through Innovation, Youth Networking, and Cultural Orientation,' aligns with national priorities for youth empowerment and economic growth. Nana Amoasi VII, one of the key organizers, emphasized that the initiative aims to address systemic barriers to youth development and equip participants with the necessary skills for economic resilience and innovation.Nana Nyieku-Otwerkoko Sumankwahen of the Ekumfi Traditional Area highlighted that despite the natural endowment and hardworking nature of Ekumfi's people, the economic potential of its youth remains underutilized. He expressed optimism that the summit w ould serve as a platform for exchanging ideas and unlocking economic opportunities to transform the community.Dr. Stephen Yamoah, Executive Director of Nuclear Power Ghana (NPG), urged the youth to participate in the summit, underscoring its potential to redefine the nation's culture and positively influence Ekumfi's present circumstances. He also encouraged other districts to adopt similar initiatives to promote national development and pledged NPG's support for the summit's success.Ms. Sekina Arthur, Youth Member of Parliament for Ekumfi, described the summit as a significant initiative and stressed the importance of empowering the youth to shape the future of the constituency.
