Krachi West: The Electoral Commission (EC) in the Krachi West Constituency of the Oti Region has declared its preparedness for the upcoming special voting scheduled for Monday, as well as the general elections on December 7.According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Isaac Buckman, the EC Officer responsible for the constituency, confirmed that officials have received comprehensive training to ensure the electoral process runs smoothly. "The training signifies our readiness for the 2024 general elections in Krachi West," he stated.Mr. Buckman assured that there are no challenges faced by the EC in the area and that security measures are firmly established to ensure a peaceful and credible election. He emphasized, "EC officials, security personnel, political parties, and the electorate are all prepared for the elections on December 2 and 7. Everything is on course."The EC officer revealed to Ghana News Agency that 601 voters are expected to participate in the special voting exercise, while 33,700 voters are reg istered across 86 polling stations in the constituency for the general elections. He called on candidates and their supporters to maintain calmness and promote peace throughout their campaigns and rallies. "Let us continue to preach peace to ensure a successful and peaceful election in the constituency," he added.The EC's readiness underscores its commitment to delivering free, fair, and transparent elections in the Krachi West Constituency.
