Tema: Dr Lawrence Tetteh, President and Founder of Worldwide Outreach Ministry and an International Evangelist, has urged Members of Parliament (MPs) and politicians to live above reproach and have their lives reflect their title 'honourable'. He emphasized the unfortunate events surrounding the disruption of the vetting of Ministerial Nominees and the subsequent destruction of equipment used for the vetting on Thursday, January 30.According to Ghana News Agency, Dr Tetteh expressed his concerns during a sermon at the conclusion of the Prayerfest2025 of the Maranatha Assembly of the Great Commission Church International (GCCI) in Tema. The event, themed 'The God of Heaven, He will Prosper Us', was a week-long prayer and fasting program aimed at seeking divine blessings and favor for the new year. Dr Tetteh called upon the nation to pray for the Legislative body, emphasizing the need for MPs to rise above their emotions and remember their responsibility to represent Ghanaians, not personal interests.Dr Tet teh highlighted the repetitive nature of disruptions in Parliament, recalling similar events in 2021. He stressed the importance of setting good examples for the citizens and creating an atmosphere of respect and honor towards the country's leaders. He urged MPs to maintain composure, as emotions can cloud judgment, and to ensure their actions reflect their role as representatives of the people.Rev Iddi Yire, the Resident Pastor of Maranatha Assembly of the Great Commission Church International, expressed gratitude to Dr Tetteh for his blessings and contributions to the Church, acknowledging the positive impact of his message on the congregation.
