Abesim: Pastor Paul Adu-Adjei, the Abesim District Pastor of the Deeper Life Bible Church in the Bono Region, has called on Christians to participate in the upcoming elections by casting their votes on Saturday, December 7. He emphasized that it is the expectation of God for Christians to engage in the electoral process to elect leaders who are God-fearing and possess high integrity.According to Ghana News Agency, Pastor Adu-Adjei made a distinction between voting and active political engagement, advising Christians to avoid deep involvement in political party campaigns. Instead, he encouraged them to focus their efforts on spiritual activities such as soul-winning and advancing the Kingdom of God. He shared these thoughts during an interaction with church members following a Sunday service dedicated to discussing Election 2024.Pastor Adu-Adjei also reminded the congregation, particularly the youth under 18, of the legal and moral implications of voting. He warned minors against the temptation of particip ating in the election, labeling it a sinful and serious offense that could lead to unnecessary complications.For those eligible to vote, Pastor Adu-Adjei urged a thoughtful approach. He encouraged them to assess the policies of various political parties and candidates critically. He emphasized the importance of electing leaders who are capable of bringing significant improvements to their lives and communities.
