He stated, "As your representative on the Council of State, my role becomes most effective when I am supported by a unified and clear message from this House."
Mr. Kwamigah-Atokple proposed that the House formally engage the President on three key development priorities: the Volta Harbour Project, the operationalization of the Ho Aviation Training School, and agricultural mechanization. He pointed out that these initiatives could position the Volta Region as a strategic hub for trade and transport, boost technical education, attract investment, and modernize farming methods to enhance productivity.
Expressing gratitude to the President for a recent directive approving a Ghc 30m Chinese grant for constructing an ultramodern market in Aflao, Mr. Kwamigah-Atokple stated, "This is a welcome sign of action, and we thank His Excellency for this commitment." Quoting Ghana's first President, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, Mr. Kwamigah-Atokple called for unity and forward-thinking leadership, saying, "We face neither East nor West, we face forward." He encouraged the House to explore sustainable income-generating ventures to reduce reliance on government subsidies, emphasizing the need for creative solutions to build financially viable structures.
