Tunis: TAP is organising Thursday at the seat of the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU) its annual Sports Information Day, with attendance of a wide range of sports stakeholders, convinced as it is of the central role of public media in promoting excellence and entrenching a culture of athletic feats. The event is part of the news agency's corporate social responsibility, demonstrating active commitment to give impetus to national sport.According to Agence Tunis Afrique Presse - English, the results of the 14th annual poll for the Best Tunisian Athletes of 2025 will be unveiled. This will be an opportunity to pay tribute to the national elite in various disciplines in recognition of its outstanding performances and contribution to the influence of Tunisian sport in international events. The best athletes of the year are picked after a vote by professional football Ligue 1 coaches, technical directors of federations, and sports journalists.TAP unveiled last December 19 the list of nominees in five categ ories, namely best football player, best male athlete, best female athlete, best male Paralympic athlete, and best female Paralympic athlete. A roundtable meeting will address the topic "Investing in Sports Infrastructure for Higher Competitiveness" to deepen reflection on ways to upgrade sports infrastructure in a bid to meet the exigencies of modern sports, create a performing sports environment, and step up the competitiveness of Tunisian sport at home and abroad.
