Congregants at Action Chapel, Calvary Methodist Church Celebrate Joyfully into 2025

ADABRAKA: Worshippers at Action Chapel International and Calvary Methodist Church in Adabraka joyously welcomed 2025 with spirited dancing and songs of praise, marking the arrival of the new year with gratitude and devotion.

According to Ghana News Agency, many congregants dressed in white as a symbol of thanksgiving to God for guiding them into the new year. At Action Chapel International, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, the church's founder and overseer, led the congregation in prayers. He encouraged the faithful to overcome challenges in the coming year by viewing themselves as kings and priests, seeking wisdom, and embracing the blessings prepared for them by God.

The archbishop also provided health advice, particularly urging men over 40 to monitor their prostate health, noting the disease as a significant risk for black men. Sharing his personal experience with prostate disease, he praised God for his healing, attributing it to both faith and medical treatment. Additionally, he advised women to regularly check for breast cancer as part of maintaining their health.

Meanwhile, at Calvary Methodist Church, prayers were held specifically for the nation of Ghana. The service, themed 'Gathering in His presence to worship, praise, and pray,' focused on seeking divine guidance for the year ahead, emphasizing the importance of spiritual preparedness and communal solidarity.
