Tamale: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has undertaken renovations of the Boys' Dormitory and Kitchen facilities at the Tamale Children's Home to improve the living conditions of the children residing there. Elder Isaac Morrsion, Second Counsellor of the Africa West Area Presidency of the Church, expressed optimism during the handover ceremony, highlighting the potential long-term benefits the facilities would offer to the children.According to Ghana News Agency, Elder Morrsion stated that it was a privilege to contribute to a cause that significantly enhances the children's quality of life. He emphasized the Church's mission to foster goodness and support the social, economic, and spiritual well-being of individuals as followers of the Lord Jesus Christ. He also urged the facility's managers and the local community to maintain the renovated facilities diligently.Madam Annunciata Anglaaere, the Acting Northern Regional Director of the Department of Social Welfare, conveyed her appreciation for the Church's support. She noted that the renovations have been crucial in creating a safe and nurturing environment for the children. Anglaaere highlighted that the improved dormitory and kitchen would significantly enhance the children's daily lives, offering them dignity and hope for the future. She also recognized the Church members' dedication and expertise, which extended beyond financial contributions.
