Accra: ChannelOne TV and Citi FM, renowned TV and radio stations based in Accra, have successfully organized the two-day 'THIS IS GHANA' exhibition 2025. The event was designed to highlight Ghana's innovative export potential by providing a platform for local small and medium enterprises (SMEs), start-ups, and indigenous corporate bodies to showcase their products and services.According to Ghana News Agency, the exhibition, which began in 2019, attracted over 160 exhibitors this year. It aims to support Ghanaian SMEs and businesses by introducing them to entities like the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA), facilitating their access to international markets. Madam Nelly Joana Spio-Abaidoo, Head of Industrial Arts and Crafts at GEPA, emphasized the event's significance in projecting what Ghana can offer globally.Madam Spio-Abaidoo remarked, "For us, we want to use this platform for project development and to introduce the companies to the opportunities that exist in the international market while scou ting and looking at businesses that have potentials." "This is a report that every SME will need in Ghana," he advised.Mr. Bernard Avle, General Manager of Citi FM, shared that the exhibition's concept was to foster economic development by creatin g a marketplace for various sectors.
