Sekondi: Mr. James Kabiekyle, a prominent business owner in the Western and Ashanti Regions of Ghana, has made significant contributions by donating building materials to the Ghana Police Service in Sekondi and the 2BN in Apremdo. In addition, he has provided two motorbikes to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) office in the Western Region to support their efforts in the upcoming elections.According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Kabiekyle, who owns James KK Gold Enterprise and a heavy-duty machinery centre in both regions, expressed his commitment to supporting the welfare of the country's security services and the NPP for effective grassroots mobilisation. He emphasized the importance of the security agencies' diligent and patriotic service, which has contributed to the thriving and peaceful environment in Ghana. Mr. Kabiekyle urged them to continue safeguarding the nation's sovereignty amidst economic challenges and the forthcoming elections.The officials from the Police Service and the 2BN expressed gratitude f or the donations, highlighting that the materials would aid various infrastructure projects within their respective commands. The Police Headquarters in Sekondi, in particular, plans to utilize the materials to construct a new building that will better accommodate chiefs and the public seeking redress.Lt. Yvonne Owusu, the Adjutant to the 2BN Commander, thanked Mr. Kabiekyle for his generous gesture and assured him of a continued relationship with the Commanding Officer. Additionally, Mr. Okatakyi Amankwa Afrifa, the Western Regional Secretary of the NPP, expressed appreciation for the motorbikes, noting that they arrived at a crucial time to enhance rural mobilisation efforts. The party remains optimistic about securing victory in the elections and hopes to increase its parliamentary representation in the region.
