Accra: The Buem Traditional Council in the Jasikan Municipality of the Oti Region, has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic military helicopter crash that claimed the lives of two Ministers of State and six other public servants.
According to Ghana News Agency, in a heartfelt statement, the Council, led by Nana Tettey Brantuo Kpesseh of Jasikan, conveyed condolences to the President, bereaved families, and the nation. The traditional leaders mourned the passing of these distinguished sons of the land, highlighting their legacy of service, dedication, and patriotism. They extended condolences to President John Dramani Mahama, the government, Ghana Armed Forces, and the bereaved families.
Nana Kpesseh emphasized the importance of unity, peace, and serving the nation, citing the victims' commitment to the national cause as an inspiration. He urged Ghanaians to remember the preciousness of life and the dignity of serving the motherland. The Council paid tribute to the victims' sacrifices, reflecting the true spirit of patriotism and resilience that defines Ghana.
