This marks the second consecutive year that the artist, affectionately known as 'Killa Blacko', has claimed the top spot, surpassing other local music heavyweights such as Stonebwoy, Kidi, and Shatta Wale.According to Ghana News Agency, the announcement was made as part of the 2024 Spotify Wrapped edition, which highlights the eclectic musical preferences of the Ghanaian audience and acknowledges the contributions of local artistes. Phiona Okumu, Spotify's Head of Music for Sub-Saharan Africa, commented on the trend, stating, "Ghanaians are not just consuming music; they are creating a bridge for Africa's thriving music scene to come together. Spotify Wrapped 2024 shows how Ghanaians are constantly expanding their musical taste, embracing the continent's diverse sounds, and building a deeper appreciation for music."The dynamic nature of Ghana's music scene reflects the influence of cross-cul tural exchanges.
