Bibiani: The Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipal Directorate of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) has held a significant dialogue for parliamentary candidates in Bibiani, focusing on strategies to ensure political stability within the constituency. The event sought to foster a constructive exchange of ideas between candidates, highlighting their commitments to the community's development and stability.According to Ghana News Agency, the dialogue featured key participants including Mr. Alfred Obeng Boateng, the incumbent Member of Parliament and candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), alongside Mr. Bright Asamoah Brefo, the Parliamentary Candidate representing the National Democratic Congress (NDC). Mrs. Martha Nneka Opara, the Municipal Director of NCCE, emphasized that the forum aimed to provide a platform for candidates to clearly outline their visions and policies, thus enabling constituents to make well-informed choices on election day.The discussions prioritized essential developm ent issues such as employment, education, health, road infrastructure, water and sanitation, among other critical concerns. Both candidates committed to conducting their campaigns with integrity, focusing on substantive national matters rather than engaging in divisive politics.Mr. Edmund Jones Afutu, the Municipal Police Commander for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai, urged both candidates to encourage their supporters to maintain peace and avoid any actions that could disrupt the constituency's tranquility during the election period. He assured that the police force is prepared to handle any disturbances, ensuring that the electoral process remains smooth and lawful.
