Beyond the Word Ministries and Nkwanta South Assembly Unite for Peaceful Fun Games

Nkwanta: Beyond the Word Ministries and the Nkwanta South Assembly organized a series of fun games in the Oti Region’s Nkwanta South Municipality to promote peace and unity in the area. The initiative saw the participation of the Ghana Police Service, the Ghana Armed Forces, Nkwanta Old Players, and Nkwanta All Stars in football matches aimed at reconciling factions involved in local conflicts.



According to Ghana News Agency, the event not only highlighted athletic skills but also served as a platform to cultivate peace and solidarity among the various groups. The Nkwanta All Stars football club emerged victorious in the games, boosting community spirit and enthusiasm.



Mr. Bright Owusu Nyasemhwe, CEO of Beyond the Word Ministries, which includes Beyond FM and Bfresh Natural Mineral Water, pledged ongoing support for initiatives focused on nurturing and promoting peace within the Municipality and its surroundings. He emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts in strengthening community bonds.



Mr. Joseph Kwame Antwi Awal, Municipal Chief Executive of Nkwanta South, stressed the value of such activities in reinforcing the progress made during the ongoing peace-building process. His encouragement underscores a collective commitment to fostering an environment where harmony prevails through engaging and constructive activities.



The event demonstrated the power of sports to bridge divides and foster lasting relationships within communities. Chiefs from the Akyode, Adele, and Challa tribes attended to support the initiative, highlighting the widespread community backing for these peace-promoting efforts.
