Tunis: Sixteen prison inmates are sitting the 2024 main session of the Baccalaureate exam, the Justice Ministry said.These candidates are being held in prisons in Gafsa, Gabes, Monastir, Mahdia, Sousse, Beja, Jendouba, Borj Erroumi, Manouba and Mornaguia, reads a Justice Ministry press release.Necessary measures were taken to ensure the smooth running of the exams, pursuant to the provisions of the law on special prison regulations.Over 140,000 candidates are sitting the main session of the 2024 Baccalaureate exam, held June 5-7 and 10-12.Source: Agence Tunis Afrique Presse
