Enchi: Asee Group of Companies has purchased 20 brand new tyres for the Aowin Municipal Security Council (MUSEC) in the Western North Region. The donation, valued at GHS70,000, is set to benefit several key security and emergency agencies in the region, including the District Police Command, the Formed Police Unit, Ghana Immigration Service, Ghana Revenue Authority (Customs Division), National Investigation Bureau, National Ambulance Service, Ghana National Fire Service, Ghana Armed Forces, and the Aowin Municipal Assembly.According to Ghana News Agency, the handing over ceremony took place at the forecourt of the Municipal Assembly, where Mr. Francis Boateng, Chief Executive Officer of Asee Group of Companies, emphasized that this initiative is part of the company's Corporate Social Responsibility commitment. The focus of this commitment is on enhancing security support within its operational area. Mr. Boateng highlighted that the donation aligns with Asee's core value of safety, especially after recognizi ng the severe wear and tear on the tyres of the security agencies' vehicles, particularly those of the Ghana National Ambulance Service.In addition to the tyres, Mr. Boateng announced a cash donation of GHS5,000 each to the Ghana National Fire Service and the Ghana Armed Forces. This financial support is intended to help them procure tyres that meet their specific requirements. Mr. Samuel Adu Gyamfi, the Chairman of MUSEC, received the items on behalf of the security agencies. He expressed his gratitude to Asee Group of Companies, noting that the contribution comes at a crucial time as the agencies prepare for the upcoming 2024 elections.
