Arab Bank and GETFUND Collaborate to Enhance Nsuta RC Primary Education Facilities.

Nsuta: Mr Benjamin Yaw Gyarko, the Techiman Metropolitan Chief Executive, has inaugurated a new kindergarten block and a six-unit classroom block for the Nsuta Roman Catholic Primary School within the metropolis.According to Ghana News Agency, the construction of the kindergarten block was financed by the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa and includes child-friendly classrooms, washrooms, a kitchen, a dining hall, storerooms, playgrounds, and an Information Communication Technology (ICT) center. The Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFUND) also contributed by funding the construction of the six-unit classroom block for the school.Speaking at a ceremony in Nsuta, Mr Gyarko emphasized the government's dedication to enhancing educational infrastructure as part of its efforts to promote quality education across all levels. He stated, "The government understands the importance of education and is doing everything possible to tackle the deficit in the nation's education infrastructure development." He fu rther highlighted that the government had constructed more than 80 educational facilities across various communities in the metropolis.Mr Stephen Aidoo, the Deputy Director at the Techiman Metropolitan Directorate of Education, praised the government's initiatives to address the shortage of educational infrastructure in the area. He also urged the school authorities to take good care of the new facilities and ensure their maintenance.
