Accra: The Western Nzema Youth League (WNYL), a prominent youth organization, has expressed its condolences to the families affected by a recent helicopter crash that resulted in the loss of eight state officials.
According to Ghana News Agency, a statement issued by Dr Patrick Ekye Kwesie, the Leader of WNYL, highlighted the profound impact of the tragic incident on both the local communities of the victims and the nation as a whole. The statement acknowledged the heavy burden of losing lives so suddenly and offered thoughts and prayers to the grieving families.
The statement conveyed the group's understanding that words may fall short in alleviating the sorrow experienced by the families but hoped that they could take some comfort in knowing they are not alone in their grief. WNYL also extended sympathies to the government, led by President John Dramani Mahama, as they manage the situation's aftermath.
