The stock market closed the session on November 17, 2023 on a positive note.

The benchmark index rallied by 0.2% to 8491 points, in a modest volume of TND 2.1 million, according to an analysis by the stock market broker Tunisie Valeurs.

ASSAD stocks topped the trading line. The car battery manufacturer’s shares soared by 4.6% to TND 0. 920, in a volume of TND 21,000.

The Tawasol Group Holding stocks performed well during the session. The holding’s share price rose by 3.2% to TND 0.640, generating a flow of TND 91,000. The stock thus consolidated its annual gains, taking them to 6.7%.

STIP stocks suffered the most severe correction of the session. Without being traded, the share price of Tunisia’s only tyre manufacturer fell by 4.4% to TND 4.300.

OTH stocks also fell slightly by 1.4%, closing the session at TND 8.360. The share traded at a discount of TND 8 thousand, showing that its annual performance nevertheless remained in positive territory (a return of +21.1%).

SIAME was the most traded stocks dur
ing the session. The share of the electrical equipment specialist fuelled the market with capital of TND 420,000, ending the session down 0.8% at TND 3.670.
