Anyako-konu: Togbi Tenge Dzokoto Gligui, the Dufia of Anyako-Konu and the Paramount Chief of Amugo-Vego Traditional Area in the Keta Municipality of the Volta Region, has emphasized that education is crucial for shaping the future of all individuals. He stressed that no child who is of school-going age should be denied access to education.

According to Ghana News Agency, Togbi Tenge Dzokoto Gligui made these remarks during an interview at the inauguration of a renovated library by students from SOS Hermann Gmeiner International College. He urged parents and the public to support students in their educational pursuits, noting that education broadens one's mind and prepares individuals for future tasks, leading to successful outcomes.

Togbi Tenge Dzokoto Gligui explained that education is a fundamental right and should be accessible to all children, regardless of their background or socio-economic status. He highlighted that education unlocks the potential of children, enabling them to contribute meaningfully to the development of their communities. He called on the public to support their wards in accessing the library to read, learn, and acquire knowledge for a brighter future.

He appealed to parents, teachers, and community leaders to work collaboratively to ensure that all children have access to quality education. He also urged support for the READ project, which aims to bridge the education gap in the area. Togbi Dzokoto Gligui affirmed his commitment to collaborating with organizations, individuals, and stakeholders to provide educational opportunities.

Togbi Tenge Dzokoto Gligui also encouraged students of Anyako SHS to engage in extensive reading, describing reading as a means to expand the mind. He noted that the renovated reading room serves as a gateway to the world and a sanctuary for dreams.
