Thirteen Ministerial Candidates to be Commissioned by EPCG

Accra: Thirteen ministerial candidates will on Sunday, 29th June 2025 be commissioned as Ministers of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Ghana (EPCG). The Commissioning service will take place at the Mafi Adidome EPCG chapel at 9 a.m.

According to Ghana News Agency, Reverend Dr. Lawson Kwaku Dzanku, Clerk of the General Assembly of the Church, disclosed this information in an interview in Ho. He stated that the candidates underwent a three-year ministerial training at the Trinity Theological Seminary, Legon in Accra.

The Clerk mentioned the candidates as Mr. Roland Dzakodzo, Mr. Maxwell Kafui Debrah, Mr. Divine Dzakpata, Mr. George Clinton Tutu, Mr. Seth Adzam, Ms. Etornam Atuwo, and Mr. Felix Owusu. The others are Mr. Ben Awusagbah, Ms. Mawumenyo Agbekeh, Lance Corporal Alexander Folokumah, Mr. Joseph Amenu, Mr. Precious Kpormor Kumador, and Mr. Emil Akoi.

Rev. Dr. Dzanku stated that the candidates, when commissioned, would serve a probationary period of two years. He said that after serving the probationary period, they would be ordained as full-time Ministers of the Church. Rev. Dr. Dzanku added that their ordination would be based on conviction and satisfactory performance during the probationary period.

He congratulated them on the path they had chosen for themselves and expressed hope that they would prove equal to the task ahead of them.
