Plans for Attack on Far-Right Israeli Security Minister Foiled

Jerusalem: The Israeli domestic intelligence service, Shin Bet, announced on Wednesday that it has successfully thwarted a planned assassination attempt by a cell of the Palestinian Islamist group, Hamas, targeting National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir.

According to Ghana News Agency, several Hamas militants from the Hebron region in the West Bank have been arrested in recent weeks in connection with the plot. The Shin Bet statement revealed that drones were seized during the arrests. Investigations indicated that the suspects had intended to use these drones by attaching explosives to them to execute the attack.
