Takoradi: The Takoradi branch of the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC) has concluded its Missions Week celebration with an appeal to members to contribute generously towards missions work. The event, which spanned the entire week, included activities such as prayer sessions, evangelism, and fundraising campaigns.

According to Ghana News Agency, the culmination of the week-long event saw congregants coming together in worship, prayer, and giving to support missions. A video documentary produced by the Church of Pentecost Missions Board was presented, showcasing the board’s work and achievements, aimed at encouraging further contributions.

In his sermon, Elder Lawyer Benjamin Ackaah-Gyasi, the Missions Leader of PIWC Takoradi, highlighted the significance of supporting missions work. Quoting Mark 16:15, he reminded the congregation of their biblical mandate to “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” He emphasized that supporting missions is an essential aspect of the church’s ministry and a duty of Christians to aid in spreading the Gospel globally.

He further explained that contributing to missions extends beyond monetary donations; it is an investment in the eternal lives of individuals. The church took advantage of the occasion to collect funds to bolster its missions initiatives both within Ghana and internationally. The money raised will support church missionaries and community development projects.

PIWC Takoradi is a leader in missions work in the Western Region, concentrating on evangelism, discipleship, and community development. The church’s efforts have significantly impacted many lives in the region, with its members dedicated to continuing their mission work.
