Krachi East: Mr. Nixon Edem Gidisu has been appointed as the new Municipal Manager of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) in Krachi East, marking a significant change in leadership of the Municipality's healthcare sector.
According to Ghana News Agency, before assuming his new role, Mr. Gidisu served in various capacities within the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Krachi East. These roles include serving as the constituency deputy secretary, where he demonstrated leadership skills and a commitment to public service. He played a crucial role in managing elections within the constituency and oversaw constituency activities and initiatives, showcasing his administrative expertise.
Mr. Gidisu also contributed to the Youth Working Committee and the Accommodation Committee in the Volta Region. Additionally, he was appointed as the Ewe campaign team coordinator for the 2024 elections, successfully coordinating campaigns.
As Municipal Manager, Mr. Gidisu will lead the implementation of NHIS programmes, ensuring access to quality healthcare services for Krachi East residents. His leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future of quality healthcare delivery in the Municipality.
