JAGILS Alumni Collaborate with Rolla Foundation to Aid Cherubs Children’s Home

Kumasi: The Alumni of the Jacobs-Abbey Global Institute for Leadership Studies (JAGILS) has extended support to the inmates of the Cherubs Children’s Home located in Santasi-Apire within the Kumasi Metropolis of the Ashanti Region. In a concerted effort with the Rolla Foundation, JAGILS Ghana Campus, and the Inspirers Alumni, the group purposefully visited the Children’s Home during the Easter period to foster hope among the children.

According to Ghana News Agency, the partners provided the Children’s Home with educational materials including the Wise Ant and Golden publication textbooks suitable for basic school levels ranging from Nursery to Junior High School. Additionally, they donated assorted stationery items such as pens, pencils, notebooks, exercise books, sketch pads, graph books, erasers, rulers, mathematical sets, markers, and art supplies.

Furthermore, the JAGILS Alumni contributed children’s clothing in various sizes to be distributed among the children at the home. Mrs Vida Osei-Agyemang Naab, the Coordinator of the JAGILS Ghana Campus, who spearheaded the delegation, stated that this charitable act is part of JAGILS’s corporate social responsibility initiatives. She emphasized that the effort mirrors JAGILS’s dedication to cultivating leaders who contribute positively to society and support vulnerable communities.

Mrs Naab expressed her belief that this benevolent gesture by the JAGILS would instill the values of compassion, responsibility, and leadership through service in the beneficiaries. “At JAGILS, we believe that education goes beyond the four corners of a classroom. Supporting Cherubs Children’s Home is a practical way of showing that true leadership begins with selfless acts that uplift others,” she remarked.

She also recognized the backing from the wider JAGILS community, including the Board of Trustees, Advisory Council, faculty, management, students, and other contributors to the initiative.
